IMPORTANT STUFF

RED SOX FAN OF WEEK:
This week's number one Red Sox fan is Miss Maia Xue Franchetti. She recently turned five years old and lives in Vermont. Her nickname is "Tulip". Her favorite foods are ice cream and M&Ms. She is an accomplished singer, dancer, thespian,
skier, and biker. She is a crowd pleaser when she rides her bike in the 4th of July Parade, held in Manti, Utah on the 3rd of July.

YAZ
RED SOX LEGEND OF THE WEEK:
CARL YASTREMSKI "YAZ"
Red Sox left fielder from 1961-1983.

Roy Orbison
ROY ORBISON ALERT!!!!!
Remember ---- only 82 days until Roy Orbison's birthday on April 23rd.
Voo and Zoo's five favorite Roy Songs:
Crying
Only The Lonely
In Dreams
Pretty Woman
Blue Bayou

FLY OF THE WEEK:
The Royal Coachman

This is probably the all-time "king" of flies. It can be tied as a dry fly or a wet fly. Not only is it a fish favorite, it is also an excellent fly to hook your dog's ear or companion's cheek during the back cast.

DUCK OF THE WEEK:
The Bufflehead

Although this duck is rarely seen in Utah and has a name that reminds you of one of Voo's nephews-in-law, it is a very beautiful duck and it is a thrill to see one.

BUG OF THE CENTURY:
The Japanese Bark Beetle

This little "son of a bitch" is in the process of totally destroying all the forests in the United States of America.
....... Ranger Bob

KNOT OF THE WEEK:
SHEETBEND

This is a great knot for tying two different sizes of rope together. It is also the knot of choice for farmers tying two bales of baling twine together.

WWII TANK OF THE WEEK:
SHERMAN

This is the number one tank of the US Military in WWII. It had many faults but got the job done. If any of you know where there is one available, please let me know. I would love to display one on my front lawn.

MOUSEKETEER OF THE WEEK:
ANNETTE

Not only was Annette a very cute Mousekeer, she DEVELOPED into an outstanding singer, dancer and actress in the critically acclaimed Beach Party movies of the 1960s.

SHOE OF THE WEEK:
THE OXFORD

Everyday dozens of people ask me, "Voo, what is your all time favorite shoe?" My answer is always the same. For business, weddings, funerals, Duck's Unlimited banquets, and AA meetings, you can't go wrong wearing the Oxford. I get all my Oxfords at Jensen's Department Store in Manti, Utah. They have been in business for over 80 years and have an outstanding selection of shoes. Whenever you are in Manti, always stop at Jensen's and ask for Cousin Bob.

For fashionable footwear
That does the job,
Secure your "soles"
from Cousin Bob!

DO YOU EVER WISH?

Do you ever wish that Rod Blagojevich and Sarah could be locked away together, having to listen to each other talk for the rest of eternity, never to be on the news again?

I've had Aunt Bee's cakes, over rated. Barney could make these cakes. If she added 1/3 tablespoon of Vanilla and a cup of sour cream, then she would have it. Batter whipping and texture quality is the key. And no, this is not my secret cake recipe. I tell no one.
In Dreams has got to be #1.

Actually the secret of the pancake-- is to turn six times.

A lot of people would like to see more of your beautiful sister Joyce.

I think Annette was my dad's favorite. Maybe she was that for a lot of guys. . . . Especially as she, as you said, developed.
